Merch is forgettable.
Watching it get made isn't.
A stack of pre-folded tees at an expo booth gets picked over and left in hotel rooms. Put a press in the same spot and people stop, wait a couple of minutes, pick their size and watch the print come up. That couple of minutes is when your team gets to talk to them.
