Book two to four weeks out for most Orange County events. Under two weeks is often still doable, because the presses and blanks are already staged at our shop in Fullerton and nothing has to be shipped. If your date is close, ask before you assume it's too late.
A simple timeline
- Four weeks or more. Worth it for a convention week in Anaheim, a campus event that needs vendor paperwork, or a hat bar with custom patches.
- Two to four weeks. The normal window. Send the date, venue and headcount and we hold the crew and order blanks.
- Under two weeks. Often fine. We'll tell you the same day whether the crew and your sizes are available.
What speeds things up
Final art is the one hard deadline. We want it about a week out so screens and transfers can be made and a test print run. Beyond that, a rough headcount, the venue, the date and which stations you want are enough to quote.
The weeks that fill first in OC are the December holiday party run, summer fair season in Costa Mesa, graduation season, and any week with a big show at the Anaheim Convention Center.

Planning notes
Why a local date moves faster
Most of what slows a live printing booking down is travel: freight, flights, a hotel block. None of that applies inside Orange County. What's left is whether a crew is free and whether the blanks in your sizes are in stock.
That's why a same-week date is sometimes possible here and rarely possible for an out-of-town crew. Call instead of emailing if it's that close.
