DTF, embroidery, a hat bar and screen printing all run live at Orange County events. They're good at different things, and most events pick one main station and one extra. Here's how we'd decide.
Live DTF printing
Full-color transfers pressed on the spot, with no screens and no color limit. Use it for detailed logos, photos, gradients, names and events where the design changes between guests. It runs off heat presses, so it's also the easiest to power at the beach. See live DTF printing.
Live embroidery
Logos and monograms stitched on site. It's slower per piece and it's meant for gifting: a leadership offsite, a Newport reception, a VIP table. See live embroidery.
Live hat bar
Guests pick a cap and a patch and we press it on. It's compact, needs no ink, and fits a brewery corner or a small pop-up. See the hat bar.
Live screen printing
Real presses and ink, pulled in front of guests. It's the fastest way through a big crowd when everyone gets the same one- to three-color design, like a convention booth or a fairgrounds gate. See live screen printing.
Short version: full color or names, DTF. A gift, embroidery or the hat bar. One design at volume, screen printing. Still deciding? Read DTF or screen printing or send your event details.
Planning notes
How the setting changes the pick
In Orange County the venue often decides as much as the art does. Outdoor events on the sand or at the fairgrounds favor methods that are easy to power. Dressier indoor events on the coast lean toward stitched pieces. Big indoor crowds in Anaheim favor the press.
Send the venue with your art and we'll factor both in.
